Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries

Event date:
Saturday, May 19, 2018 - 7:30pm to 9:00pm

The "Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries" Book Tour is traveling from California, to DC, to Atlanta, and beyond!

When it comes to matters of the Spirit, elements of patriarchy, puritanism, sexism, racism, homophobia, and xenophobia often pollute sacred spiritual practices. Join our panel of contributors, Maisha Najuma Aza, Cazembe Abena, and Giariel Foxwood who will share strategies and stories about the Power of Queer Spirit to usher in a new paradigm of spiritual and social balance. They will also share excerpts of their pieces, and facilitate an interactive roundtable discussion about Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries.

The discussion is open to all, no matter your background, and is an opportunity to learn, connect, and get your own copy of "Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries."

This is a Charis Circle From Margin to Center Literary Event. The suggested donation is $5.
