Charis Presents Love Between the Covers: Bookstore Romance Day Celebration! Join local queer romance authors Barbara Lynn Murphy (Two Lives One Heart), Ana Reichardt (Crush), Michelle McCraw (Tempt Me), and Mia Tsai (Bitter Medicine) for a book signing and meet-and-greet. The authors will chat with readers, take photos, and sign books in person at Charis Books and More. No reservation or ticket required. Bookstore Romance Day is a day designed to give independent bookstores an opportunity to celebrate Romance fiction—its books, readers, and writers—and to strengthen the relationships between bookstores and the Romance community.
About the Authors:
Barbara Lynn Murphy is originally from Long Island, New York, but currently lives in suburban Atlanta, Georgia, with her wife and four dogs. Always an avid reader, she is a late bloomer to writing, having only started doing so in earnest during the Covid years. What was once a passing fancy has morphed into a second chapter in her professional life.
Ana Hartnett Reichardt is an award-winning author of sapphic romance. She worked in the Pacific Northwest wine industry for eight years and now lives in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, with her wife, their fluffy German shepherd, and a mildly evil cat. She loves all things fermented or distilled, walking the local trails, and eating pastries. So many pastries. She is currently working on her next book and dreaming of a beach trip.
Michelle McCraw loves reading kissing books and working in tech. One day, she decided to combine her two interests, and now she writes steamy, nerdy contemporary romance that just might make you laugh. Her Synergy workplace romance series features characters who unashamedly love science, engineering, and technology. Her novels have been finalists in the RWA Vivian Contest, the Contemporary Romance Writers' Stiletto Contest, and the Windy City Romance Writers' Four Seasons Contest.
A native Texan, Michelle has shoveled snow during nor’easters and knows the proper response when someone yells “O-H.” She now calls Georgia home, where she doesn’t miss snow AT ALL. She enjoys reading, traveling, drinking bourbon, and spoiling her extraordinarily ill-behaved but adorable dogs.
Mia Tsai is a Taiwanese American author and editor of speculative fiction. Her debut novel is a xianxia-inspired adult contemporary fantasy titled Bitter Medicine, which is published by Tachyon Publications. She lives in Atlanta with her family, pets, and orchids. Her favorite things include music of all kinds and taking long trips with nothing but the open road and a saucy rhythm section.
When techie Josie Molina is volunteered by her boss to visit an elementary school to discuss careers in Technology, she reluctantly agrees. Her reluctance vanishes when she meets and befriends teacher Trish McCann. Josie, an unapologetic lesbian, tries to ignore her attraction to Trish because getting involved with a straight woman is always a bad idea.
Josie Sanchez is the head winemaker at Cadieux Vineyards, and all her dreams ride on the upcoming crush. If she can produce a gold medal pinot noir, the owner will give Josie her own wine label. Finally. She's worked years for this opportunity, and nothing will stand in her way.

Emma Wilson has it all figured out. She's the starting point guard for the Alder Lions. She's got a post-grad job lined up. Every queer woman on campus wants her. And she's definitely over her old flame. The one she never even got to date.
She's coasting.
Her old crush is her new boss.
STARRED REVIEW] "Sparks fly in Tsai's refreshing and enchanting paranormal debut.... With brilliantly developed, multifaceted characters; a clever magic system; and witty prose, the pages of this fantasy fly. This marks Tsai as a writer to watch."
