Charis invites our community to Feminist Vent: Abortion Provider Appreciation Week hosted by Amplify Georgia and partners on Abortion Provider Appreciation Day to gather in solidarity with clinic workers and discuss the future of abortion rights. Building on the feminist activist tradition of consciousness-raising groups, we invite community members to join this event, lightly facilitated by Yemi Miller-Tonnet (Amplify) and Dartricia Rollins (Charis). As many states threaten abortion access and Roe v. Wade is at risk of being overturned, we hope this will be a space where abortion justice advocates and marginalized community members can discuss their hopes, fears, and frustrations about the future of reproductive justice. When our basic human rights are under attack, there is power in holding space for our collective grief and rage.
