In honor of the 40th celebration of Earth Day we invite you to join us
for a program exploring the intersections of environmental justice and
other social justice movements. Dianne Glave, editor of To Love the
Wind and the Rain: African Americans and Environmental History and
author of the forthcoming Rooted in the Earth: Reclaiming the African
American Environmental Heritage, will join us to talk about her work on
the African Diaspora and the environment. Environmental activists from
GA WAND will join us to discuss the role of women in local
environmental justice movements.
