Stories for Free Children Story Hour: Halloween Edition

Event date:
Saturday, October 21, 2017 - 10:30am to 11:15am

Join us for a special Halloween edition of our Stories for Free Children Story Hour. Children of all ages are welcome to attend with their parents. Join us the 3rd Saturday of every month as we invite local children's book authors and community members to read their favorite stories for free children. This month's community reader is Donna Troka. Donna lives in Decatur with her partner, kid, three dogs, and three cats. She loves books and Charis. The Little 5 Points Halloween Festival begins at 12pm and the Parade begins at 4pm so hang out afterwards and watch the parade with your little ones!

This is a Charis Circle Strong Families Whole Children Program. The suggested donation is $5 but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

The dragon in the closet is such a con: one minute he's dancing like a goof under sheets and leaving "get well" notes and peppermints when little ones are sick, and the next he's tracking dirty footprints all over the carpet and eating all the snickerdoodles out of the cookie jar.
