This month's Faiths and Feminisms features Laurie L. Patton, the Charles Howard Candler Professor of Religions at Emory University. Her scholarly interests are in the interpretation of early Indian ritual and narrative, comparative mythology, literary theory in the study of religion, and women and Hinduism in contemporary India, and religion, conflict and peacebuilding.
In addition to many articles in these fields, she is the author or editor of seven books. She will present her talk "Through the Looking Glass of Comparative Religions: Living Well and Staying Spiritually Grounded in a World of Multiple Faiths"
