Angela Y. Davis is a living witness to the historical struggles of the contemporary era; she is known internationally for her ongoing work to combat all forms of oppression in the U.S. and abroad.  Dr Davis' speech is the keynote of the National Women's Studies Association (NWSA) annual conference for Women and Gender Studies scholars and students.
