JJoin Charis in welcoming Angelique Burke, an educator, presenter, activist, performer, licensed therapist, and certified clinical hypnotherapist, who will facilitate a five-part series this spring beginning with this workshop: "Hawt Loving:Building Healthy Relationships and Creating the Love that You Want." The focus will be on keeping and/or getting the hawtness, sexiness, joy, love, and connection back into your relationship(s). *(Just in time for V-Day!).

Future topics in the series include:
II. Me, Myself, & I: Experiencing A Love Affair with Myself. We will
utilize Self Discovery, Mindfulness, Self-Exploratory, and Self Esteem Building
Exercises to Identify Personal, Spiritual, Emotional, and Career Goals, and
Potential Barriers to Achieving Them.
III. Tapping in, before Tapping Out: Healing, Connecting, and Growing Beyond Anger, Abuse,
and Trauma. Focus will be on getting
past Anger, Abuse, and Non-consensual Violence within a relationship, and
Personal and Shared Trauma prior to, and/or experienced during the
relationship. We will explore personal, relational, and communal impacts,
resources, and opportunities for growth, connection and healing.
IV. Getting The More That You Want: “Alternative” Ways of Relationshipping. This will be an intro Workshop to Getting and
Exploring More Play, More Partners, More Commitment, and More Excitement in
your Relationships. Some areas
covered will include Non-monogamy, Open Relationships, Polyamory, Kinky, BDSM,
Lifestyle, Fetishes, Role Plays, M/s, D/S.

Living and Loving Again: Life after Breakups, Affairs, Loss, and Trauma. We
will explore opportunities for growth, support, resource development,
connection and healing.
Angelique L. Burke is an educator, presenter, activist, performer,
licensed therapist, and certified clinical hypnotherapist who presents and
trains on various events. In her
private practice she addresses a wide variety of topics such as Anxiety Reduction,
Relationshipping, Sustainable Workplace Development, Increasing Self-esteem, Careering,
Same-Gender and Heterosexual Intimate Partner Domestic & Sexual Violence,
Poly/non-monogamous Relationship Related Issues, and “Alternative”/Kinky/Leather Lifestyle Related
Relationships, and LGBTQI Related Issues .
She is dedicated to facilitating personal and
communal connection and growth via living more fully embodied. She also loves practicing various
ways to encourage, support, and evoke meaningful experiences in non-profit, for
profit, grass roots, academic, and community based settings. She provides individual, couples,
family, and group therapy, as well as training, consultation, community
networking, and referrals for a vast range of people.
Utilizing a wide range of diversely inclusive
activities and transformative approaches, she highlights the healing power of
relationships, community accountability, intervention, personal responsibility,
and self-empowerment.
With a proven and long standing commitment to
education and training, one of her current passions is creating new community connections
that are raw, authentic, deeply intense, and intent on the
self-embrace and empowerment that healing, transformation, relationshipping,
and communities can bring.
