Do cultural and artistic expressions create divisions between women?  How can evolved cultural and artistic expressions from women, including oppressed women, transform our understanding of modern-day oppression and help us be in solidarity with one another?  Solidarity activists and artists will reflect on the subtle messages of the movie "Django Unchained," and speak on what it means for women to support one another today. The conversation will be moderated by Pastoral Counselor Pamela Ayo Yetunde with contributions from community members. This event is sponsored by Charis Circle's Founding the Future of Feminism.
