Meredith “Miz” Avakian, author of Propaganda Begins with PR: Poetry for the Soul, is a New Jersey native of Armenian-American descent who has been writing poetry since she was a child. Tamesha S. Hawkins is a queer black slam poet as well as the author of Sugar Lumps and Black Eye Blues and Confectionately Yours. You won't want to miss the fun and fire of these inspirational women!
